tach leute!

So I have the following problem. I'm totally undecided what I should buy. I will cut aufjedenfall with the program work and avid search a matching notebook now. Unfortunately, I can not distinguish between windows and apple decide.
at the moment I tend to macbookpro. but I'm not sure whether avid (I unfortunately only as a pc version) under windows xp on apple notebook is running properly.
has someone experience? and maybe a notebook proposal (up to approximately 2600 ¬)?

thank you very much

Alienware ;-)

Reply raymaker:

Win Programs run on any Windows.

Dignity but rather as a fine IBM / Dell / HP Business Notebook take. Qualitatively better than the cheaper MacBooks and also by price.

Imagine a look at www.dell.de two together, they've got a very good configuration and are on top of relatively cheap.

Reply der verrat:

is obvious to me the win on any windows programs running.

I was just drum to know whether Windows XP is running optimally or if it can run via bootcamp on a macbook has been installed.
've been a couple of people noticed it in avid zb then again there have been problems.

Reply jazzy_d:

I am working myself to an HP-Mobile Desktop. And I sell the synonymous gut. The run very well. Free Support of HP and times are synonymous-site if necessary. Can the so highly recommended.

Reply der verrat:

I think the hp-portable desktops are not bad.

for me it's the way I like ProTools synonymous programs use them.
The only run aufm mac.
but I need synonymous avid but I only have a windows version.

therefore, would be synonymous for me a MacBook interesting. because I go through boot camp b both systems can use.

I am interested in whether I therefore mainly via the bootcamp windows just as well be able to operate like a mobile desktop hp

Reply mon3:

I have 8 weeks before a new notebook purchased a Dell Precision M6300. that I am working with avid (MC 2.8), which runs like a one, is going smoothly and stable (which is a mobile-workstation).
I can only recommend.

Reply der verrat:

at the moment I still tend to macbookpro because I need both systems.

2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 6MB L-2 cache
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 512MB
200GB 7200 rpm.
FireWire800, 400
etc.

so it is basically good but under windows with avid and work in osx synonymous with various programs such as ProTools, PS etc.

Reply raymaker:

Then do it but if your decision is already fixed? Such candidates are the dearest to me.

Reply der verrat:

fixed or even doing nothing.
I only have I just written in one direction tend.

what do you think of the HP w8510 mobile workstation?
