hi I have the following question: why does 1 tabe 12 GB? is this normal? do not think so because 12 GB at no dvd fit ... have a jvc camecorder with miniDV ... did with unlead and magix (test version) and tried every warn there are so many GB .... it is so that I have a video for our friends to be cut and burn but it is not.

You've probably miniDV tape of the almost 1 hour on the PC. Yes, this is completely normal. The clip is saved as an AVI file, so without loss of quality cutting. On DVD, then obviously more compressed (as MPEG).
You can all synonymous directly as MPEG on the PC, as strong as it is compressed, it can no longer "beautiful" Edit

No, not a giant hard drive. A quite ordinary, current IDE disk with 300 GB does it synonymous. ;-)

What do you want to convert? A machining program can das.Macht but does not make sense, then yes you can start a hard Cacmcorder buy.

I guess times, you need not only a "Converter", but an editing program, because you want the raw material, so hopefully synonymous edit. But you should read through the links, the top one you already gave.
A useful freeware solution is not known to me.

So with the Nero 8.0 SE (or so) that my burner enclosed, is a simple cut (cut scenes throughout bouncer, some 'artistic' transitions) and the draw of DVDs.
