sorry am dealing with the topic and quite fresh to me synonymous've bought only a few days ago a MacBookPro with iMovie HD.
I find no possibility of my film (which makes Canon XL1 only 4:3, or 16:9 mode is junk, as I wander here read) in 16:9 to.
Also, the help or the Introduction nothing to say: (
That's not the act that placed on a 4:3 or less simple 2 bar at the top and bottom will be.
White as a person know? Many thanks in advance :-) s.Euch
PS: And since I still have s Problemlein: In the subjects (opening credits) I find no way to change the font size. Depending on what you clicked on, but appears Schriftgrößemenu s, but when clicked nothing happens, unfortunately (???)

Salut, Forgive me if I go now to only one aspect. The 16:9 mode, the XL-1 is not a "scrap", but there is always a better method, namely an anamorphic lens (which I know nothing further for this cam). The method to create a 4:3 widescreen picture just a mask, but is certainly the worst possible alternative. 16:9 If you want, then take synonymous in this mode.

The 16:9 bars hidden under Effects> Cinema Effect, where are you with the slider size from "Without" to "can completely" mask the 4:3 - Picture. In writing this work for me, the adjustment (using the "Size" control means, however, is on roughly 35 pixels Final bug?).
In both cases, lack of input capabilities for accurate values (which is 16:9, for example, you have to guess).
What at first might make happy, because it is so easy going, are you after a while on the laces.
