Hello, sorry to interfere with (unfortunately did nothing comparable found in the forum)! I have a SonyDCR hand-HC14 camcorder which I have the recording options to 16:9 wide mode can switch. Does not synonymous bad. Dubbing into FinalCut, I have the Picture in 16:9, but composed of a 720x576 frame with a smaller 16:9 content. Ie above and below, I have a black bar. What do I wrong or is the 16:9 setting my camera just a FAKE? Thanks for the clarification says a not yet very experienced Michael.

16:9-Letterbox is das 4:3-Picture with bar;)

Unfortunately, this is so. It is only a 16:9 vorgegauckelt because the camera does not produce true 16:9 picture. Did a lot of Sony cameras. I've synonymous a TRV8. Look on Page 62 of the camera line.

Do not squeeze and escape. 16:9-A sequence (anamorphic) create. Schlicht DV PAL 16:9. Purely material throw. Material doubleclick. With window scaling the motion 1:33 eintragen. Done.
