how can one from a fixed frame (a picture) 3D bar can come out? Hard to describe, so here the video with the time code:

I have an image loaded into After Effects, duplicated the layer, the body and to the masked Zertrümmereffekt used. Here then the gravity to 0 and the extrusion depth is quite high. Then I got a sub-composition with the two layers created as a 3D plane and declared folded. Camera on it, but unfortunately, the only bar on the 2D image is displayed. This I agree that the Zertrümmereffekt the debris is not as 3D rendering. Is that correct? How come I get on another way to target? Cinema 4D is synonymous available.

When folding is the 3D option is lost. Try it without the added time to fold compositions.

Hmm, first thanks for the reply =). But it seems as if the Zertrümmereffekt only 2D ausrendert. Has someone an idea perhaps, as with the Cinema 4D to achieve?

Which version of AE do you have? I have tested with the 5.5 and as it went. However, I had the images directly with the effect and not occupied with work sub-compositions.

So, I have AE 7.0. If I like you described a picture in the insert composition, smash it, and this camera with the Camera Orbit tool around a bit, I can only see a 2D picture with pieces of debris 2D ausgerenderten it = (. Of course I have the level synonymous declared as a 3D.
Is this a Mac Skin on Windows? I have just two minutes hard, whether you have a PC version s.Mac used or so ...

I had no camera in the game, but only the 2d Floor. And since three-dimensional effect grew out of the Picture bar.
If the intersection space is free again and I'll have some time, I like most synonymous with a 3d-level ...

So with the 3d level, it really does not work, because rendering the effect only in two dimensions. There is within the shatter effect, however, a separate camera system and thus allows the beam three-dimensional rendering.
The level at which the effect is applied, the composition remains within 2d.
