| Actually a good purchase .... or maybe not?
Question of Alex Welb: Januar 2007
Hello,
I have recently started a SonyDCR-HC23E as my first camcorder purchase. Actually, I am synonymous with the unit quite satisfied, But yesterday I had noted that the camcorder was not on the current series of Sonygehört: He was of the DCR-HC27E replaced at the beginning of February in the stores comes.
I, as a complete layman in this field have compared both models (http://www.sony.de/product/CompareProducts.action?site=odw_de_DE&pcReturnUrl =% 2fproducts% 2FProductComparisonWizard.action% 3Fsite% 3Dodw_de_DE% 26sectiontype% 3DProduct% 26modelName% 3DDCR & models-HC27E DCR-HC27E = & model = DCR-HC23E) but could detect no significant differences ...
So is synonymous not improve the picture quality can be expected?
Thanks in advance
Alex

Hi Alex,
not every new model is necessarily synonymous or better quality equipment. Especially with the equipment manufacturer are now just greedy and stupid as it has become the two major technology markets fool. ;-)
Reply Alex Welb:
Hmm ... achso ....
and if you have the data compares the two models: a wage replacement?

On the website of both models Sonykannst you directly compare them. Here you'll find that on the HC27 to the USB port dafter waived for this nonsense and 800x digital zoom was placed. The HC27 is not synonymous "16:9 Wide (Full)-Recording more. In return, the power consumption of the HC27 lower, ie, a battery lasts longer.
I would keep the HC23.
