I have a composition more footage. I would like to finish as soon as the footage does not disappear but "freezes".

Your clip should not of 100% starting at 0% s.Ende run. This makes it piece by piece, slowly.

Or you exportierst the last frame as tif and then make your comp as long as you have the "Still Image" want to see. Ctrl + Alt + S is the shortcut I think ...
