Frage von Max:Hello,
sitting here s.einer video animation in after effects. while I would rotate a circular element to read yourself. the element comes from photoshop and there is synonymous circular. the after effects as well, but when I start it, it will turn to elliptical ???!!
I allude in question, I think it is a pixel aspect ratio problem. But others already have relationships as synonymous quadrtisch tried and the same everywhere, because not looked through.
Antwort von Markus:
Hi Max,
for the video format and television standard which you need the pixel aspect ratio? (Example: 4:3 DV PAL or DV NTSC 16:9)
Antwort von maxblast:
My Resolutionist 720 * 576 pixels. But this is PAL or DV? Oddly enough, the circular element is synonymous circular and elliptical is only at the turn. If the pixel ratio is wrong, the element in the initial position would also be elliptical or already?
Antwort von Markus:
Hi Max,
Your project setting "720 × 576 DV PAL" is correct (the pixel aspect ratio is then available to 1.07).
Click in After Effects times on the preview window on the button with the arrow (top right:
Options for the Composition window) and select from the menu
display options. At the bottom you can select the
pixel aspect ratio correction, to make the preview image in the 4:3-type of video format with slightly rectangular pixels to show.
What happens then with the object when Rotate (around the z-axis?)?
Antwort von chmee:
You should circle in Photoshop to 768 * create 576, ie PAL square.
Then just click on a square pixel ratio 1.0.
If you importierst in the AE, it should appear circular, synonymous with the rotation.

Hello!
s.markus nee: that does not fix the problem, everything is distorted even more
s.chmee: THE isses! needed in photoshop only to enlarge the working area to 768 wide. So really only the working area, not the image size. But this is bizarre! But this documentary circles imported synonymous remain truly what if I turn around. moreover, in square pixels in AE and 1.07 ratio. * Stalin *
Many thanks s.euch both this forum, I will visit often, as is really super, what one gets here s.feedback!

s.markus nee: that does not fix the problem, everything is distorted even more Hi Max,
That was clear to me. It would have been synonymous only the first of several steps to create an animation in DV PAL 4:3 aspect ratio. I thought you wanted the animation later built into a video and need 720 × 576 pixels with the typical video-pixel-aspect ratio, so you have to convert the material does not even later. : - /
If the animation has nothing to do with video footage to PAL square is a more viable solution. :-)
That changing the pixel aspect ratio in the project setting has no effect on the shape of the circle has, is because the pixel aspect ratio correction (see above) is not enabled. You activate it, the circle in pixel aspect ratios other than 1.0 on the ellipse. ;-)
