Hi,
I have "just" the raw data of a 300-GB Project packed and burned onto DVDs. That can not be there ;-)
As archived their film projects? The tapes kept? I've always worried that if I keep the tapes and delete the avi's, and later during re-digitize these things are no longer exactly as getimed martial.
S.Archivierung My claim is that I have a project with a certain effort again with objects in Premiere and edit reinbekomme can. Or is it unusual?

Hi tobsen,
I would simply external hard disks as storage media. The ratio ¬ / GB is acceptable - I think I also tend s.die long-term safe storage life of hard disks (with the appropriate use / storage of course) as of DVD blanks.

DVD's Knapp 2-4 years? Where does this information because? EMTEC maybe blanks. Everything else seems to me to be a rumor. My first CD in 1998, burned and is still just as easy to read, as s.ersten day. My 2003 burned DVD's also, I do not think that this year they give up the spirit. 2008 so I can once again what about my DVD's to write, I think they are still legible.
But in large quantities so I would s.Daten hard synonymous to fall back. If one wants to be sure, one should perhaps even a second hard drive as a backup, because a hard drive crash can be synonymous times ...

Definitely external disks. A 500 GB disk costs synonymous under 200 euros.

at 300 GB will be surely the data can be divided into categories. Then I would rather be 2-3 150 GB hard advise and distribute the data. How large are the individual data? Otherwise there is nothing against a digital backup on a DV tape (one created naturally min. 2 backups).

I must be as so often connected to the Powermac,
Trekstor 400 (with 400 Samsung) currently costs just under 150 Euros. 300 are only about 20 euros cheaper.
