Frage von Skov:Moin,
have recently been following problem with the sony digital handycam CM16K:
After the dubbing of the video footage of the DV tape to the hard drive you can hear that the audio track is slightly damaged. In low frequency "chopping" the sound again and again, that he always temporarily.
The distances of these dropouts are irregular and often vary. A relationship between volume and dropouts, I could not recognize.
Now I have to go more detailed troubleshooting.
First I thought, it is s.meinem Fire-wire cable; had another attempt and the problems occurred again.
Then I took the audio track on the Line-In input on the PC market: the same problem again. It struck me that the audio dropouts always occur s.der same agency.
I also have video clips of older recordings and plays again on the problem did not occur. Thus I was able to transfer as a source of error (with my knowledge) to exclude.
To also exclude the possibility that it is s.den cassettes, I have on this old, functioning new tape recordings made it to the PC and plays: the problem was back.
Then I considered whether perhaps the Microphone of the origin of this evil is. So I have an external microphone is connected, new recordings and found that I Micro Camera is not the blame can.
My guess is now that an error in the transfer of recorded audio signals on the DV tape occurs, but I'm not in a position to confirm or even to repair.
The questions would s.euch now:
I couch with my assumption correct?
If yes: Do I have the camera repaired, or do I even in the handle?
If no: What is the problem?
Since I use the camera in quite the near future (tomorrow) do, I would be synonymous on proposals pleased to allow me to circumvent this problem. I was wondering, that the audio track with a separate device could be, but I wieß not what this is particularly suitable.
So now ever grateful for any answers!

have recently been following problem with the sony digital handycam CM16K That is nothing in comparison to my problem: I do not even know this camcorder ;-) Are you sure he says?

Thank you, I've already thought of something.
But there may be short-term alternatives to the sound list?
Antwort von Markus:
The name CM16K found often in conjunction with DVCAM tapes. The cartridges have a memory chip with 16K.
But there may be short-term alternatives to the sound list? Even two of them: You could drive your camcorder clean (if necessary, quick & dirty with a cleaning cartridge) or tomorrow, you could have a separate audio recording device with you.
