In recent years the quality of low-Batteries has decreased greatly. I used to use external batteries, not now. The originals are better, the camera is much longer and the original batteries are actually very durable.
In today's Li-Ion Batteries factor is that sloppy made energy bars with this chemistry is not without problems. If the batteries are not sealed completely clean, one of the current memory can fly around the ears. Not good when the camera in your hand or even s.der jaw / s.Auge has ... The parts are often low in some Chinese zusammengefrickelt backyard operation.
I also would annoy me when the shooting suddenly run out of the current Camera. The originals, I know how long I have power and plan accordingly. The parts are cheap as unpredictable.
The bottom line is you drive with the original ones better, cheaper and safer.

I give you with this statement in principle right, I'll put synonymous to quality. But some original batteries are really disproportionately expensive. The best example currently Panasonic SD 707, for such a battery bonsai he is mighty expensive. Since no wonder that customers prefer to reproduction are, therefore to try the OEM chips to protect me (among others). If the price - I buy Leisungsverhältnis fits like the originals, otherwise reproduction of well-known manufacturers as synonymous as the true quality.

As long as you do not necessarily greed-is-Geil Batteries purchased for 5 euros a piece - is the quality of the battery does not become worse than it was years ago (yes, the Batteries for NV-GS400 which I have purchased recently are just as grandiose as the things that I bought 5 years ago).
Hence: simply buying time for retailers to demand realistic Prices - then there is reasonable synonymous Batteries.

The Panasonic brand manufacturers provide their Sonyand Batteries with special chips that perform specific functions such as the residual capacity show. Sometimes third-party batteries are not detected. I had the problem but not yet. I use a SonyHDR FX 1 and a Panasonic HDC SD 300 synonymous Batteries of other manufacturers. The only drawback, as I said, the remaining term is not correct (Sony) or not (Panasonic) displayed. Since I use multiple batteries, I always have a full two Batteries here. Since it does not disturb when a battery is short and unpredictable empty. The price savings are enormous. That will, of course.
