Hello dear forum I have before me at some point a player for my XL1S to buy. Besides, I wanted to like him as a second or backup camera use. It should of course be a Canon synonymous. Now my question to use all Canon camcorder batteries BP 900 ter of the series? And if not then what other than the xm and xl models? Oh yes it is a DV camcorder.

Yes BP 9xx series of Canon is something like the L series from Sony - often used in the prosumer class.
XL 1 / 1 S / 2, XM 1 & 2, XH A & G 1, XL H1 - so come to me ...
Meanwhile there are synonymous, the new BP 950 g (supplied H 1 XL, XH A & G 1) and BP 970 g, which for more charge cycles, more endurance and faster loading times are.

I had time to 950 g DM s.einer XM 2 - worked, then did about 3 Tapes recorded.
I would be seriously surprised if the XM s.einer not work 1. These Batteries are almost always backwards compatible, as synonymous, the new current SonyFH Battery - is synonymous with FP devices.
I heard but that with 950 G / 970 G is quite expensive - probably because new - the contractors are probably rare at the moment gesäht. The BP 915.930 or 945er get so tens of companies.
