I have been about 4 years, a JVC GR-D200E. This has a 1 / 4 "CCD with 1.33 megapixels and 540 lines of horizontal resolution. So far it has done me good service, but was almost exclusively for family videos.
Since my children are now increasingly in school productions on stage and I dance tournaments synonymous filming, and then s.Mitschüler or distribute Mittänzer want, I search now a camera at least technically met the conditions "such as images on television to deliver. Because the results of my "work" with the JVC are very under Home video - red and I can not examine the content and the camera work. That is flawed, I realize. But I strive to improve synonymous here.
Since I do not use flat fee, is my price limit for the camera at about EUR 1,000, -.
Canon MX2 and SonyDCR-VX2100E would be a dream. But you'll only use (leisure on ebay), and probably not even then, to EUR 1,000, -. Therefore, unfortunately, outside of my capabilities.
When you browse the forums here, I went to Panasonic and Canon rise.
Once the Panasonic NV-GS320EG-s already for EUR 465, - to re-acquire. Now, these are 3 CCD Camera 's but only with 0.8 Megapixel and 1 / 6. "Somewhere I think have read that the size of the CCD' s, next to the lens, the light intensity is crucial. This would be my JVC light stronger than the Panasonic, how it generally looks like? Would you have any Panasonic NV-GS320EG-S as a brilliant improvement on my JVC describe yourself?
Really interesting would be the Panasonic NV-GS500EG-S and the Canon HV20.
The Panasonic NV-GS500EG-S, I would order new EUR 850, -, the Canon HV20 to EUR 909, - get.
Since this is for me a lot of money, I would like to have the best price / performance ratio preserved - but who will not.
Which of the two NV-GS500EG or Canon HV20 at these prices is the better choice? Used to shoot at school performances (with stage lights, possibly synonymous in the winter night with s.Abend and Lighting) at dance events (relatively well-lit dance floor) and family videos in the wild and in buildings.

For 1000 Euro you do not get TV quality. The improvements are synonymous strongly limited. Your camera work is not flawed, but insufficient. Cameras are overvalued. Improve the time the camera work - and because you can improve a lot. The films are much better. The home video comes from the charm and little picture Gewackel feeling. Concentrate on attitudes, break your film ideas into images that you need.
To the real question: HV20 with Velbon Tripods.

At what price range cameras technically lose the Home Video Touch?
Or is it just s.der the camera work and the camera holds - will mean a professional cameraman from my JVC gets a technically better image?
And now the crucial question: Where do I as a hobby when I film the quality of my videos (settings, visual sensation, etc.) wants to improve and no assets to spend?
Although when I have a WIFI Course discovered (I'm from Austria, near Graz, Austria) in 80 hours to train a cameraman, but the cost of EUR 1.400, - and this is a hobby for me just too much.
Belongings while at Amazon and here in the forum for some tips on shooting literature found - but bring a Books next?

A technically better image quality, perhaps not, but a nice video.
A movie or TV movie, one of the (possibly older) VHS tape is played, is technically less than perfect. The VHS Resolutionliegt far below the resolution of your camera, image noise, the color separation is poor.
Yet the film does not look like a home video, but like a professional production, halt with poorer quality of technical play.
The crucial factors are:
Illumination
Camera Work
Cut
Sound.
In professional productions, these tasks of various specially-trained people do. This level can be reached Hobbyist course than ever before. We can improve but in which one professional films from the perspective screen sizes: What are the different than I?
