| Beginners: Presentation and Questions
Question of PatrickS3: Januar 2011
Hi,
So here I am and sometimes at a loss, or insecure.
But first a short introduction.
My name is Patrick and I come from the beautiful Lake Constance. Years ago I bought me a Pana NV-GS17 is a bit Video recordings of steam locomotives to make. So all s.der just for fun joy. Since the NV-GS17 but a little Zicken does when I now again and wanted to enable the handling of SD cards is easier anyway, I look around me here in the forum and I finally decided to SonyCX115, but which is still on its way to me. I think that's sufficient for my needs and projects I except the steam locomotives still more than my RC-Model and s.and perhaps even want to film birds of prey.
Now to my main concern.
Even those little things you have to s.PC possibly cut and edit.
Currently I have (because free was) Premiere Elements 8 So 3 days before a test CX115 video downloaded from the net to look at; as my calculator and Elements will be 8 so clear. The tips to improve performance I have all implemented.
My PC: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 4x 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, GeForce 9600GT, Win7 32-bit. My first observation: If the window of the element is maximized, the jerky video when I little no longer do.
Now my question:
Are there different programs fundamental performance differences?
Would be possibly the small Sony Vegas Movie Studio, Edius Neo, or 3 or what ever synonymous the performance of her better?
The calculator itself should actually be good enough, right?
Gruss Patrick

Hi,
I do not believe that the SOFTWARE is the problem ... the camera records in AVCHD to ... and there are quite a 4gig RAM s.der lower limit
Reply PatrickS3:
Hm, would mean upgrading RAM upgrade to Win7 Uind connected to 64 bits.
Reply ratoe66:
... Would be the logical consequence ... but before you're in an overhead crashes ... maybe you are you having a friend who calls a 64bit system with more memory are intrinsically connected and test times can be
Reply PatrickS3:
No, the possibility of a test, I unfortunately do not have.
The RAM upgrade would be synonymous s.sich not the problem. But the reinstallation of the system with all applications, not just one of my favorite activities and would be with the transition to 64 bits needed.

... Or you can simply small preview window. You just try to buy something of a demo of Edius. This is in the handling of AVCHD praised always high. At Panasonic, which is even with the purchase of an AVCHD cam for free here. I have it myself but never tested. Addendum: eg here http://www.grassvalley.com/products/edius_neo_3

Otherwise you cut the clips with proxy, as in the vdslr's. Just clips with MPEG Streamclip to convert a low bitrate down, watch out that the names are identical (except for the endings halt) and then cut with the proxys do. if the cut is finished, and et voila orginale proxys by clip share in good quality ready-cut
