Beginners have a few questions about the handling .....
Question of olli7055: September 2009
Hello,
I've been quiet for some time snoopers and have finally bought a camcorder to me yesterday ....... (Canon HF200)
I would like to edit my clips with Premiere Pro .... When creating a project and import the clip into Premiere, I had the choice between various formats since and I do not know quite what I do there take ...
I have the camcorder time to the highest tested selected Resolution1920x1080 with a frame rate of 50i (default setting in the Cam). The files I have received in MTS format. When I now import into Adobe Premiere, I'm going to AVCHD files .... Do I now choose when creating the project AVCHD 1080i25 (50i)?
Sorry, I honestly have no idea, and try to say is stop incorporate ...... About interlaced or progressive, I've found nothing in the Canon description. I do not now whether 50i also means that the interlaced video material available.
Hope you can possibly help me ..........
greetings
Olli

Sure. You always take the project setting that matches the format of the camera. This is, in your case now views 1080i. i means interlaced. Do not worry more headaches than necessary.
