I read a lot of contradictory statements about Blu-ray:
1. People burn their HD video on mini-Blu-ray, and these are satisfied.
2. BD players can play 24p and 60i. Are they synonymous "normal"?
3. Television, especially "old" LCD / plasma, can no 24p, so the jerky picture (self-view in a media market, with FullHD TV-FullHD of BD, the seller was clueless, fummelte s.den settings, but not got it that> typical?).
4. Should we BD for his movies with 24p output?
5. Or should we do it, with regard to "old" player?
I ask for comments. Because, to put it with Nena to say: I am so verwiaht.

The matter is quite simple:
Ad 1: yes, many, but you should know how and with what tools to do it.
Ad 2: No, Blu Ray player capacity of 1080 24p, 50i and 60i. For most of our HDV, MPEG2-HD or AVCHD camcorder synonymous thus likely to offer 50i. Unfortunately, 1080 25p on Blu Ray is not provided for (1080 50p not synonymous).
Ad 3: one is not a fan of Filmllook, 50i is therefore perhaps a better choice, compared with 25p. Although some Blu Ray Player 25p even unofficially can - but not guaranteed. 50i, however, almost always.
Ad 4: no, definitely not, because conversion is needed, especially when one of 50i HD equipment comes. Blu Ray tolerate 1440x1080 50i as synonymous 1920x1080 50i perfectly.
