I do not know exactly how I describe it is to imagine I have a drum pic inside. Is there a cable with which you are using the USB on the pictures and can not meet with this strange D-sub 9-pin connector?
Is there a cable with which you are using the images via USB can meet ...
Which camera is it? If the images on a memory card recording, of course, would be synonymous to the detour via a card reader.

The thing is called "serial port" and is now in notebooks to be virtually impossible (because of USB replaced), at large but in fact most PCs already have.
There are of serial adapter to USB.
Whether that makes sense for your purposes, I do not know. Since you have to have us tell you more details (eg model).

Then there is a presumption that they are synonymous in the same way on the PC to play as the video data via Firewire.

An 'nem stationary Calculator look - there's' Serial' is still often turn - but sometimes as (O wonder!) Compatible 25-pin version. You need 'nen adapter 25-pin to 9-pin. On the laptop, as described by power of USB to Serial. If you like of course the jack to serial cable is missing, you can only Sharp (if necessary with 'nem schematic for cable) help. If the photos quite normal on the tape, you can of course simply synonymous tape via Firewire on play ... Firewire card should not be synonymous more expensive than other adapter.

I know your camcorder is not, but if the images on the tape stores, they are actually on the PC can play. Did you watch the videos in a single run times viewed? Technically, it should be only a Still Image in a video. This manual you have to save as a Still Image. How isses because if you put the cartridge simply by camcorder s.TV play? Do you see the pictures?

That sounds really logical: the absence of any real "pictures" are stored, but - as you write - it all ends up on tape, it will probably for a few seconds "Detached Video" Still Image per act. If you want image files, you'll get from your editing software, the corresponding frames must export. Thus, at least in the small Panasonic models, which no right can save image files.

Especially with a DV camcorder is capturing the very simple. The serial interface should be forgotten, however. This is much too slow for digital video!
