Frage von loopsy:Hi @ all!
Hope this help.
My XL2 is now almost 2 years old and thus in all likelihood ever Garanriefall no more. Now I have recently found that at the Studio in the upper left quarter of a white dot (pixel error) appears. This is very annoying and can set a really fun s.Shooting take. Maybe someone knows this problem and here it is repairable? Very important s.dieser body was again a clear indication that the white dot on the recording clearly appears - on the LCD about half of all wild - but please, please not in the recording. : - / For helpful advice I am very grateful! Live in Luneburg area. Maybe someone can give me a contact name, which in this instance helps.
Cannon itself refers to a handler in Hamburg, but before I will be active, I ask stop here again.
Thank you very much,
René

If you are lucky, then the Canon service hide these defective pixels (interpolated to neighboring pixels). In the manufacture of image chips (the more megapixels, the greater the number of pixel errors), there is always pixel errors, these are better marked and electronical cameras hidden ...... So in theory it should be no big problem to your new camera to measure and this new with dead pixels in the image correction incorporated ..... if this model this function is synonymous in the service port.
Question the right Canon service. The question is: What is the cost of this action? 600 euros?
