When should I let time go through the cleaning tape? Is it still 'too early'?
As the cleaning tape works, just leave and walk back upstream?

Cleaning tapes can if too often or incorrectly prin the video heads, the head drum (so we should attack them only as synonymous ~ 10sec. Can run normally). I have identified two varieties currently in use (Sonyand Panasonic), both with ME.

The camcorder is now three months old, are running about 10 tapes including multiple rewinding.
How many tapes are there per year, I know, therefore, not yet: D

.. if I find at the evening's scrutiny of the recordings are the blocks there. But then, synonymous only when I am in the desert or at sea. Otherwise, the cleaning can be carried out by the service.
Rule of thumb: 1 Rienigungsband = 1 head drum.

Synonymous, I think that is an exaggeration. Sonyempfiehlt so that one should use such a tape, is synonymous in the description. But after 10 tapes anyway, I do not think that it is pollution. The cam logs but anyway if they want to be cleaned.

I once read in my instructions:
If video heads (the parts that have close contact with the tape) are dirty, can not the normal recording or playback is performed correctly. Clean the heads with the head cleaner for digital video. Insert the cleaning tape into the camcorder, turn on tape playback mode and you play the tape cleaner around 10 to 20 seconds. (If you do not stop playing, they will be terminated automatically after 30 seconds.) We recommend that you regularly clean the heads. When the heads are dirty, the message "NEED HEAD CLEANING" appears during recording. During playback, enter the following additional symptoms. - It sometimes occurs a mosaic interference or the sound is interrupted. - There appear black or blue mosaic-like horizontal stripes.
If I really read it, I just have to wait until the message.
