I have a mini-DV camcorder of Canon and movies so that a long time for family occasions and parties. Unfortunately, more recently but the play mode is no longer true! The Picture is very grainy and bad! Could the reason be dirty heads? Is it worthwhile therefore Reinigungskassete to buy or the case is hopeless? I ask for help!

I use my relatively Cams much everything Sony, and Take a cleaning tape of Sony, when the cam for it. And then of course I leave only the specified 10 sec run, and not through the whole tape!
As the cleaning tape to the head of impurities (Vol. wear, ect.) Exempt, is in "full tape" to be assumed by the head directly and significantly affected, because no more dirt down to the shear berne between tape and head.
Imho I think when properly used (not daily, not a permanent cleaning) nothing on the other hand speaks.
However, occasional service synonymous of the Cam in significant life extension specialist features show, which I obtained from any private users and the current quality of the materials used in normal treatment rather than "after the user model changes necessary to" see. So in case of items second hand from e bay, for example, or for permanent use under appropriate (dusty, humid) conditions!
