Hi, CIH'm new here and I hope someone can help :-). How can I use in Premiere Pro later in a ready-cut in the Project Timeline eg a clip or a still image exchange left and right without the crossfades to lose. in 6.5 was not a problem because the hide is not on the same track as the clips were now goes to me when I later edit storyboard always the average exchange lost everything and that's not very effective ..
thank you for your help!

Hi, this works at least for still images or footage of identical length quite easily. Your body to change the offline clip, choose "media connect" and search the desired clip.Bei trimmed clips of varying lengths is all sorts of possible uncertain. Try the project s.einer copy.

@ Carsten Do I understand correctly your workflow:
You sortierst the clips in the storyboard to add them via "Automatic Sequence" with autom. Blending into the timeline and want to share a clip subsequently by you delete the old and another Paste (or just individual clips / pictures in the timeline to move)?
I'm afraid you'll have no chance. The autom. Transitions are inserted in the inevitably manipulated clips perdu. You have to get them by CTRL + D to insert new. The method of separating and new media connect is possible, but rather use for other purposes (Exchanging of clips as a batch application). Gruss Wiro

Yes, you can see it. Often this happens to be synonymous. But what kind of "problem" is solved? It is thus no more than create a problem, because very soon you have created a mess that no one understood. The word "nightmare" is like - not to be wrong. Replacing a clip via separate media / new media associate requires about 10 Links-/Rechtsklicks round, while the simple setting of a new Aperture 2 clicks. If good is synonymous only one. Finding the right workflow. Or, "Theory and Practice".
The "problem" seems to me to be here, that after a one-click button is being sought, so it does not exist. What leads to a Protestaufschrei ;-))) My opinion. Gruss Wiro

OK, replaced by concern problem ;-) Perhaps ichs've not written clearly enough, synonymous, I would only do in an emergency and not with dozens of clips, I thought the warnings were ....
