S.alle Hello! I wonder whether it is possible a 17-inch LCD screen, the network with an input voltage of 220 volts running to convert a voltage of 12 volts. I would like to screen these s.Bord my boat and operate in the use of a voltage converter goes to me too much power. Electricity is on a sailboat is always scarce. About an answer I would be very happy!

From the distance is difficult to answer. I assume you have the 220V line directly plug in your LCD, which preclude an external power supply. Then there will be a Bastellei in the entrails of the LCD and thanks SMT is a delicate matter. I would rather look for a model that has an external power supply and to me then a 12V power supply with the correct output voltage (19V or mostly so) pick. This is cheaper and saves the environment and soldering of external connectors. The LCD runs directly on 12V is rather rare.
