Must create a PAL 4:3 Project synonymous have 2 / 3 of the footage in the correct format. 1 / 3, unfortunately, was Delivered of an outdoor Camoperator in 16:9.
Have now read all the tapes in DV Pal by Final Cut Pro. floating palette changed the 16:9 footage via Compressor in Apple ProRes 422 4:3. Then everything was in a DV Pal cut 48 Project (; sequence). Until there through everything OK.
The whole was then issued as M2V MPEG2 6.2 Mbps, 2-Pass via Compressor. and burned to DVD.
Now I noticed in the changing 16:9 recordings flicker strong (echo) the 4:3 dargestelt Mat is perfect.
I myself come from the 3D area and am familiar with this format conversions not look right. Nehem times the cause of flickering is s.der contusion of the image?
As the war I Mat 16:9 to 4:3 without much quality loss?

Have now decided the 16:9 format. Proportional ind to draw the Size and then the side edges to pruning. Or I just eat it Solte in the Height and then the edges cropping? Are there differences?

Probably you mixed up is because the field order. DV is the only one format, where the lower field comes first, for all other formats, the upper field comes first.
And the aspect ratio: If you use the 16:9 anamorphic material is present, then you need to pull it of course only in the Width and it can decide, depending on the subject, whether you are a little to the left or slightly to the right kadrierst or it can be in the middle .

You must own the equipment at each import deal as it needs to be addressed. More specifically, I can not tell from a distance, because I do not know, how does your editing system.

Mat 16:9 of a Sony HDV comes in SD mode.

First of all: With Final Cut Pro, I now know myself from not at all. I have a Wintel-Calculator with MAGIX VDL as editing system.

So you have all the material in DV, so there are SD. But in 2 different formats. If correct, you should read in the object properties (dialog there is surely a Final Cut Pro synonymous) of all objects in the Interlaceeigenschaften showing such "bottom-field first". Also shows me editing system in the same dialogue to my: Automatic Interlaceverarbeitung. The burning in my dialogue is then always (no preference whether DV or MPEG-2 material is in the timeline), default: "bottom-field first". Nevertheless, with me always output correctly. My editing system requirements have always interpreted so correctly. Problems with reversed field order, I had only once the previous section of my present system.
If that is too strong flicker on the DVD only in the original 16x9 recording is noted, and we suspect next, the field order is reversed, it could be s.falschen import this material. The wrong import could not be corrected during the export.
Indeed, can NLE editing systems probably as indicated by a pianist, behave differently.
Reversed field order by the way you can reliably assess this: In the current film is strong flicker on you. Try the single frame. If you a "cancer corridor" notice, before that is 2 images, one back, then perhaps the field order will be reversed.
flicker only synonymous but can have other causes. For example, flicker s.feinen structures. Therefore, there is so synonymous in various Antiflimmerfilter editing systems, which should be applied but synonymous with caution.

It came dev. the field order confusion. Have it now in Grif. Why did the 16:9 format. read again and to set straight line. Now I can feed the Rohschnit again with the correct content. Merci for your tips.
Antwort von 3dpostpro:
hard to believe now flickers the 4:3 material ... the material is both cams in DV Pal Straight Line (PAL-CCIR 601 pixel format before).
Synonymous sequence setting is DV PAL straight lines PAL CCIR 601
What could I try?
Antwort von nicecam:
Well, as I said, with Final Cut Pro, I know not from me. But eventually you have to just try each different settings.
I do not really helpful, will make only a little courage.
