I have quite a problem with a Project. I had a city council made a documentary about an event, with several program points and incorporated as a great final concert in the open with some top stars and fragments thereof filmed in the documentary - was desired by the client synonymous Sun Now, however, the city of this documentary (DVD) sold for profit, but it obviously had no contractual agreement of the artist sought.
Manufacturer I-like than the film synonymous we do if I have I ceded all picture-and Tonrechte and the right to reproduce s.die City (contractual agreement) The concert is recorded, with camera microphone recorded live, no decrease s.der PA of the art, so of course, synonymous of bad quality of the sound - was synonymous so intended. Can someone give me as skills tips??

Oops ... something does not work. At least not without trouble with the copyright holders. If there are still synonymous top stars in the game, you can pretty much go to the eye.
My advice: cut out all single axle, where music is heard, that you do not have rights.
If the city does not want, they do it (in writing) notice that the license must be obtained even under collection of tracks, artists and agencies in the movie. Please be aware in writing that they are not authorized to copy the DVD with no rights to sell for much less compensation. Maybe there is an under-employed counsel, who wants to lead the next few months license negotiations with rights holders and the Gema ...:)
If you were bad, you could push the buck to the city by turning them into a contract to film producer and you (to write you!) Per contract for a pure director / cameraman / editor do. Then no license transfer would find you instead of on it and you were off the hook.
Let yourself be advised in each case again of a real lawyer who touches you if the necessary documents. The initial consultation is usually free, which you can use safely.
