Question of UlmsSkyliner: August 2007
Hello, I have times ne question: I film, for example, someone who currently resides in a bar and with a few friends to drink something. Then he leaves the bar and goes home alone. Well yes, it would be boring the route of the bar to the apartment of him, to film / show. Images are cut shorter so uszur. They show something that in the meantime, the jump happens Dammit not auffält. Ok then, I like movies, he sits at home and as something to eat there. Thus the jump auffält not, I need yet another scene (where he does not occur)-a cross-section image. If I may, however, nothing is available, but that is confusing for the viewer. The person verlässst bar: Cut: The person sitting at home and eat something, right?
Or a person goes out of the house: Cut: Person is in the city. There are pictures cut so you do not remember the jump because if you do not have what should we do then? This is really confusing for the viewer. Another example: Students are s.der table: Sectional: teacher comes in they sit on their chairs.
MfG Chris

Hm, I hope I have understood you correctly. I would make it so: person leaves the bar and goes out of the Picture | Cut | Empty Street is to be seen eg, person and includes door / is purely | cut |
Reply ottoo:
and the cut image (teachers) would hand on doorknob
Regards
Ottoo

Why does one actually between 2 similar or almost the same cut scenes pictures? Is there an unpleasant jump else?
Reply jansi:
Can we generally do not say. Not in every case, the intersection of I described favorably, but if you eg only show how the person in the bar, what drink, and then comes a scene in which the same person eats something at home, then that is, unless it is so willed, a very confusing intersection. It is synonymous still depends on where you positionierst Camera. A helpful Book of Daniel Arijon "grammar of film language" could help here. (Gibts glaubich only in 2001 [publisher])

Synonymous, I would say that it is a confusing intersection, but exactly what I would like NOT! Suggestions how I can prevent? Another scene shows / cut
Reply Axel:
In the bar there is life, Gläserklirren, music, voices, laughter. Then a cut: silence, at home, alone (an axis jump further instructions). Not confusing, but interesting for the spectators, because he realizes that he is not totally stupid held. Therefore better. Cut pictures are for lazy television Cutter. Eisenstein did not use Wertow not Chaplin and not synonymous. Quickly forgotten.
Reply UlmsSkyliner:
One need but always cut the images. 1. To reduce 2. Average error ..
You do so between two similar scenes a neutral intermediate cut. For example summary of a match: Scene 1: Crew rushes up and shoots Goal One: Cut: Picture of cheering spectators: Schitter: stormy team aufsTor, posts .-.... Or someone holds a speech: Cut: Now comes another person and talking: Usually, between a picture, for example, the attendees / viewers will be shown. Why do not you cut the two scenes one after another until Speaking of Women's: Cut: Speech of man Why not both scenes in a row and always a cut in between?
Or is this white flash between scenes
Somehow, it would indeed be inappropriate or uncomfortable when 2 similar or nearly identical scenes in a row, or follow? Was ever in another similar thread discussed. There, the user "Pianist" good and helpful answers. Would be glad if he would respond but all other synonymous Slashcam know what to write, please * g *

Well yes, it would be boring the route of the bar to the apartment of him, to film / show. Oh, that's OK. Still, it is just as boring, if you ever here the same questions.

hey, I would like to learn just what it can happen but that I could pester you please answer my questions? Would you thankful. Then again very clearly for you: In our area, sometimes not without embarrassment-cut images. At one stage things should be but largely abandon. Everything that is not narrative history serves, it can and should be omitted. Cinematography is first and foremost the art of simplicity ... :-) Matthias

Thank you. A quite helpful response.

Thank you. A quite helpful response. Please be happy. But still, a general tip: Show something conscious in movies and on television at the scene and cut sequences. Then you are developing a feel for what everything does and what does not. And above all: That much goes where you think that it does not.
If you're unsure, you can rotate more so synonymous and afterwards decide what you reinschneidest and what not.
