So a extrnes or internal tape drive on that one its D8 tapes into the PC read (or play) can be. Preferring synonymous older analog recordings. The D8 camcorder can do everything synonymous. If you move and the unit sold, would be something interesting (eg if it is used less than the D8 camcorder brings).
PS: Could not theoretically up to 19.5 GB on a tape get (90 min), if there is a corresponding software and the drivers were so Hi8/D8-tape with Computrdaten occupied?

From Sonygab and there is something, but you will come priced with a D8 camcorder for this significantly less away.

How it looks with D8, I can not off the cuff say for MiniDV, there is at least this software (the name I have not ready, but she was desöfteren topic in the forum, since you should help the search). To what extent this storage method makes sense, be doubted.
