Hello - here comes my help! My something old PC 100E (one of the first of this series) was a few weeks ago with me on a cruise. Salt water, it has none abgekriegt! Now replaced by the following errors: When the camera, without a cassette with Battery and they apparently tried the tape in the off position to drive (at least sounds so). This is done in minutes through the hour interval, although no external influences exist. The distances are completely different, the procedure starts at any time of day or night time. Recording and coils on the other hand, works flawlessly.
With the camera I was very satisfied so far, but now consider whether a repair is worth (Porto, cost estimates, etc.) Therefore my question is whether someone such an error is known and how this is resolved - cost?

Hi Markus. Thanks for the reply. I am now married and everything times out. Another error I found. Now I have another battery and inserted my camera has been several hours of quiet. Hopefully this is the solution, but I however can not imagine that a broken camera turns on the Battery. But what can you be anything not imagine. Gruss Josefa

But that could happen. If you have a new (charged) Battery connected, but just logs in the camcorder and immediately turns off.
If the battery is defective, the camcorder could have had the impression that between the Battery has been changed, without actually something that happened. Then would the camcorder each time and one-off again, what a life of its own on the camcorder would pretend.
