Forget the PC was the software package, consisting of the operating system and some fine applications. I work with both systems and can not really say that I would prefer one. Windows XP comes to me now as stable as before, and Mac OSX for both systems there are always things are not working. For example, yesterday in FInal Cut Pro to import a Tiff sequence. Is not easy. Although I can draw the frames on the timeline, but not the whole group as a clip ... A "professional program" if that was actually already mastered. Edius and Premiere but I sometimes drive to Verzewiflung synonymous, because some small things were simply not thought through. Unfortunately, you're talking about considerable nonsense. That Mac Pro, at issue here has a Dual Dual Core Xeon Processor with up to 3 GHz. This is the Woodcrest chip architecture. Conroe is by no means faster. Conroe and Merom Woodrest synonymous and belong to the new Core architecture. Conroe is for desktop, Merom for notebooks and watch-now-Woodcrest for servers and workstations. So you can not say schonmal, Conroe is faster than Woodcrest.

This is wrong, because the Mac Pro will use never a Conroe. He will use the server-processor Woodcrest. Also wrong, because almost all Macs for quite a while to use Intel Core processors for speed and have unlocked it.
So I must say once that I think that it is not a geschamcksfrage whether Windoze or Mac OS used. Sometimes I get the unpleasant situation of having to use Windows and have to surrender every time before that OS. So what of opaque and crude. Since Mac OS X is clearly better dch. One can only hope for the Windows world that gets better with Vista. Besides, the Mac is a better calculator in the computer field as someone already said. My impression is now 2 years after cutting s.Mac and a good 10 years on Windows: Even Final Cut Pro and OSX crash it, since Windows 2000, Windows runs stable enough for productive operation.
If you really want to fiddle around or) must (Trans-coding of the rather peculiar way, I think s.schlecht reputed for Windows Server corners always some useful free tool under OSX, the choice is much more modest.

I now have many years of XP and Mac OS experience and class and I think both systems have had neither synonymous with only one real problem. I synonymous mustard to give my views because I am a few days ago the owner of a Mac Pro in the default config (ie, 2.66 GHz, however) with 2 GB Ram.
Since my first Mac in general, I must say first: super quality, and absolutely silent (which one hears almost not at all). Processing and look and feel, therefore I think it's really first class and with the best distance calculator, I've ever had under the desk.
And so the only catch: Migrating Users of Windows than I had imagined, to bridge the time until the release of all of the UB to me important programs, with a Windows installation on the machine - Apple advertises even on the HP with Boot Camp, and now we do Windows, too. Unfortunately, Apple does not mention that the Mac Pro is probably not so, because here there is indeed synonymous wonderfully install Windows, but all SATA disks only run in PIO mode: 3-5 MB / s data transfer. This is not really fast and makes DV editing virtually impossible.

For the SATA problem: Apple advertises very well with it. It is never synonymous, that the iMac or the Mac Mini Win XP would be capable of - there is talk of "... support for latest Intel Macs," and since one of the Mac Pro is now time to do so. This argument is therefore not one and that Apple within the next few days bring a guaranteed fix times, I still consider synonymous to a rumor, and I would not count me out.

Well just let it run in Rosetta Avid - which incidentally is not (can not be run once) and resembles it in Nuendo and Wavelab for Mac OS, there are just not there and this not even an approximate equivalent alternative for Mac OS . Oh yes and NI has been implemented not one of their products as UB and the cost of the fixes are not entirely synonymous point of the hand - this is for me still a long way to go before I could put completely to Mac OS.
Although we could now say: ok, but then take Logic and Final Cut Pro - which stands for me but absolutely not negotiable: I am indeed ready to go to the hardware, but I will do the devil to convert the Software (one need only consider s.den Umlernungsaufwand times and costs). The UB Programs come in my Dec. / January and as long as I want to continue working as usual on Windows - Mac OS now that so much is great, I can find after a week is not necessarily synonymous: looks more modern, some functions have been deliberate, but ultimately, I work with my programs and which will ultimately run, I'm really no preference as long as they are stable (because I was able to run on Windows since XP does not complain - rock solid).

I have just opened 31st jpg files A 238 KiloB in Photoshop. My PC has Intel Dual Core 3GHz and (unfortunately) only 512 MB Ram, which is endern but s.Samstag. In the Oefner, I noticed the following: the first 23, it opens very fast, then you notice the 512 MB of RAM. Overall, the show of images taken 15 sec, however, has taken in the context of Windoze audio recorder silence, I've abused in a Stopur. Yes'll Canst thou spelling, but for a foreigner purely vocal perfect German. Nice that there are grave conflicts between the MAC and WINTEL, will not last much longer. Sorry. Nee! There's no G5 and Mac Pro with Dual Core and not much less of the 2.8 GHz. And there is no "Mac's" because it is in German and English, there is no plural-S. Next you compare a calculator, the exact features you know not to some extent true, in a "benchmark" where you no longer know how many images you have open and how big the pictures were. But you appreciate. And you have different numbers and different-sized photos (with varying degrees of complexity etc ...) open on both Calculator. And you also include the duration of the Bilderöffnen in Photoshop to a total velocity hypthetische substitute for a calculator here (Mac and PC). Statistics 6 I guess you can speed tests be better. Bertr. Dual-Core. I have to think really s.der place. When I was s.den Calculator here, while I looked at Apple / System Properties time after the performance and read there synonymous dual core processor, but I really thought that Dual Core was just eingefürt with Intel processors. Now I know better. I know I'll just held a defiant, but I write it go: I went with the whole ore Case for emotion.

There is no plural in German-S. Plural of "Mac" "Mac". "Mac's is" wrong in every language. "Mac's is" possible, for example, a pub owner "Mac".
