| Dubbing but how?
Question of Pikchic: August 2005
Hello,
Since yesterday I have now finally have a synonymous. Rumprobiert I've been a little bit and, quite happy to start with. However, I'm with the description of the dubbing does not quite cope.
Have a JVC GR-D-225 E. Mal asked quite stupid: Can I make a dubbing without editing s.PC at all? If so, how? For now, I give myself even with the direct transfer to the video content and I fear that my PC is too old to work elsewhere in order to. So for home use that would be rich totally synonymous, if I dan with the dubbing get a grip.
Here I hope someone can help me.

Hello,
what does the manual of your camcorder Relating to dub? At what specific point because it is stuck?
Reply Pikchic:
Hi Mark,
stands in the Instructions:
Playback Menus Sound Mode and Narration When playing the tape of the camcorder detects the sound mode of recording and the sound is transferred back. Select the sound mode, which is reproduced with the Picture. Select according to the Menuanweisungen "Sound Mode" or "narration" from the menu, and set the desired setting.
Sound Mode Stereo: The sound of both channels ( "L" and "R", we played) in stereo. L Sound: The sound from the left channel is played R Sound: The sound from the right channel, we again given
Narration OFF: The original sound is played through both channels ( "L" and "R") in stereo. ON: The dubbing is reproduced on both channels in stereo. MIX: Original Sound and dubbing are played and combined on both channels in stereo.
For the Record menu is available including Sound Mode: 12 bit: Enables video recordings in stereo is on four separate channels and the appropriate setting for the dub. (Corresponds to 32-kHz) mode of previous models.
Longer there is not mentioned.
I'm really quite baffled. Would I be very pleased if you could be there to help me.

Hello, naja you need to see if you satisfy the result, with full dubbing has not much to do. As far as I know the JVC D 225 has no microphone input, sodas you want to talk to the built-in micro or) something must draufrichten (Rercorder, annex. If I understand correctly when narration goes on with only the new recorded sound on the film's tape, recorded at Mix + new sound are combined. If you have naturally made the sound mode to 16 bit so we could not do more because no remnants of a dubbing remains. When processing with a PC completely synonymous no preference because there's so much more audio tracks can be recorded. However, it is synonymous with PC's as long as at least make a microphone input is available. Extra for each sound card (I was the right one is easy and cheap) gibts Programs for Small Effects to rework the jack on the camcorder, then you are playing without a P4 with tens of gigahertz have.

Hello "Pikchic"
from the text of the manual is not clear that the camcorder can dub a tape, but only that he can play a overdubbed tape.
As it stands, you can do with your camcorder does not dub.

Hello,
Thanks for the replies.
The fact is that I can forget the audio dubbing without using a PC (I was confirmed of the customer service of JVC).
My PC is already a little older and has windows 98 on it.
I think the forum was asked on several occasions thereafter, but if you do not too much trouble I'd be very happy about hints as I the "old" helping hand / movies can.
If at all possible, please explain dotty for PC (meaning, 0 idea). Would be nice if synonymous Could you tell me what make it fit my PC it would cost inetwa.

St. Mark's again! At the entry level model of JVC's me synonymous I could hardly imagine that would be a possible audio dubbing. In the slightly higher category, it is possible for a Sonyhab I tried it once long ago, but was with the method (in the camera) is not satisfied.

Hello "Pikchic"
a PC for video editing is no longer expensive. To get started you need is a date calculator with enough disk space (13 GB per hour video recording!), OHCI-compatible IEEE 1394 port (iLink = Firewire = DV =) and a video editing software. The latter could, in the case of the operating system Windows XP (with SP1, but without SP2, Windows Movie Maker to be supplied as standard !!!!!!!).
How much will it cost you a PC?

Hi Mark,
I shall probably have to wait. My finances are a bit tired at the moment. But thanks for the info, so at least I know where I must.
