Why you should specifically choose a micro phone, specially designed for mounting on the accessory shoe of Kompaktcamcordern was designed? John has sent you the classics mentioned in this segment. With the XH-A1, I have no experience, but purely of the Mikros ago, I would recommend ME66 (possibly synonymous NTG-1/-2, which always get good reviews). EM9600 and MKH416 play in other leagues.
