Hello!

I have Final Cut Pro and not FCE, but the "Log and Transfer must" do you select the AVCHD folder and no other.

when I FIRST open the log and transfer, and THEN turn on only the Camera and unite, then the program will find the folder on the camcorder of itself, and I am now just assume that it chooses as the right one.
but it's the same.
I choose the person, click the Add Choice and then it rödelt short, but nothing happens, synonymous moved this little progress bar is not a piece that probably really should show the progress ..

I have FCE received yesterday, the iMac is a week with me. Yesterday I installed the program and of 4.0 updated to 4.0.1. the first (and only thus far;)), what I was trying to transfer the sequences. So I've got nothing else adjusted.
the reference with the "plist" I am not quite clear;) sorry, I'm MacNeuling, had previously worked only on Windows. By the way, the import on Windows yesterday worked normally, synonymous s.diesem iMac, and on external HUB, and synonymous quickly.
So I would be known in terms of AVCHD-LT nothing. I'd guess that the camera actually produces AVCHD normal, at least there is normally the AVCHD logo on it.

Both iMovie can as synonymous FCE AVCHD does not "natively". It is always converted on import to AIC (just like in Final Cut Pro, ProRes to come here only as an option).
In case with "unusually long time," according to the strength of computer 1-3 times real time (based on the duration of clips to be) meant it, that's normal. It brought you the medium and longer term, as benefits to owners with native NLE workflow.
The import with Windows can only mean the mere transfer of the original files. Of course, this fast. But it is at least as fast with OSX. The original folder you can, to have completed logging, delete then yes again of the hard drive or archive (tip: in a differently named folder). It is a big difference if you simply copying files (rüberziehst) or other parallel synonymous watch. Try me, a video no preference which type of play a USB flash drive (it works and perhaps still) and simultaneously rüberzuziehen several other files from the same stick. Since we have a bottle neck.
So far, so we know that the files are too exotic, because it may even iMovie (iMovie way capturet "auto" HD only as 960x540 to get full HD, you had the state in the project settings and restart the program). You could import these clips into FCE without problems. But since you have a standard calculator, like millions of others with a standard software you can, the reason for the "!" only be a matter of adjustment.

I think that was the key note. I have looked up again. the cogs (see above), while AIC is (oops, no, not Alice in chains, but Apple Intermediate Codec), but in this setting thing, since what was different, now I have a progress bar as synonymous with imports.
So I guess it works now.
One more question: I have worked previously with Magix Video Deluxe 15 and am (was? Now wants to upgrade FCE) synonymous satisfied with this software, if the title synonymous options are somewhat poor (at least I'm not really send things found there: p).
The import was really easy Ratz Fatz, and editing these files was synonymous for me normally, but at least I (out of ignorance?) Not consciously noticed something. So I can because no disadvantages, but see the advantage of the faster data transfer.
What is the advantage for this recode?

If you've cut so far with Magix AVCHD natively, and that without that something jerky, then the advantage is in fact less in size. It was then probably a fairly quick and Calculator with 64 bit. I'm curious on your Comparison, after you've worked a little.

So yes, I have this on a Quad Core with 4GB Calculator (behind only 2GB, because a bolt was broken) and nerve cut ATI 4870 with Vista Home Premium 64 Bit. it went smoothly, except when many color changes Effects Alpha masks, etc. were added, then nachschaufeln he had to.
Magix has just demanded initially even know if you want to recode, if you have a slower Calculator, or whether to leave it that;)
