| GS250 picture <-> TRV900 / TRV950 or: what camcorder to buy
Next page transsib: November 2006
Hello!
I'm s.verzweifeln! I would like to 800, - ¬ (if need be synonymous much more, then I'd rather save a little) more to 650, - ¬ for a camcorder output. It is important to me the best possible image quality, an AV input for a finger camera would be very desirable, DV-in would be synonymous not bad, but quite irrelevant. In the manual control options, I am not so ambitious, here goes my focus ring and a not too cumbersome handling of the exposure and white balance. Used the camcorder for paragliding movies (directly and via Fingercam), while snowboarding (directly and via Fingercam), when motorcycling (Fingercam) and for holiday movies (directly). The size is irrelevant, but it should not exactly a model with its carrying handle.
So:
- Preferably a professional image - AV-in - DV-in (optional) - Focus ring (not sooo important) - Not too big
Now, I have researched extensively, remaining the Panasonic NV-GS250 or SonyTRV900 or 950th The GS250 is used with rest or warranty, as today on eBay, isolated yet synonymous with full warranty from the dealer (went for 556, - ¬ away). The TRV900 is now on the other hand, only (very) used to have, without any warranty and at prices which are significantly above those of almost new Panasonic lie.
What do you think? Does it make sense to me a TRV900 to buy? How is the picture quality in comparison to the GS250? On the Internet I found of the TRV900 only snapshots from videos or videos in very poor quality - is there somewhere in good quality demos? Are there any alternatives (possibly synonymous for more money) to the cameras? The GS400 seems mainly to offer more features, the GS500 does not have AV-in XM-1 / -2 is technically not quite uncritically (no idea whether the AV-in), the HC1 and HC3 offer no AV-in and are are priced but then again in another class. The new Canon HV10 I like the ergonomics are not. Time, aside from that, when the HD cameras the image quality when outputting in PAL probably synonymous only to GS250-level.
I thank you very much for your answers!

Your purchase price definition sounds in fact very undecided. ;-)
If your DV-IN is not so important, you could synonymous with the TRV890 involve. That is down to just those data-input the same model as the TRV900 (and freischaltbar!).
Alternatively, you could search your synonymous to the SonyPD100 extend the professional version of the TRV900 with XLR connectors. I was just on the website of

Hello Mark!
That was indeed fix with the answer! Thank you for the additional suggestions camcorder!
[...] Your purchase definition sounds in fact very undecided. ;-) [...]
Because something is deceptive - up to 800, - ¬, I could immediately browse to the table, would obviously be less pleasant. ;-) The first priority, however, the picture quality - should be so for me the desire to a more expensive model shown in the spare in case of doubt, prefer more before I buy myself a camcorder, of which I'm not really convinced. I fear only that it is not so much more expensive alternatives - no carrying handle, there is only the new HD camcorders of Sony, with the output in PAL, but no benefits. Professional image quality in a compact casing without carrying handle and firmly mounted Micro longer, it seems no more to give?
[...] A Comparison to the GS250 or TRV950 I can not replicate the TRV900, but I know from years of use. - The I do not her! ;-)
Even without the comparison - you know a page on which I made a with a TRV680, 900 or 950 may be made movie?

Does it make sense to me a TRV900 to buy? For Panasonic, I can say nothing, but the TRV900 is synonymous still an excellent camera. Some years ago I had the good fortune to be with her a few things to be able to rotate, and I found it absolutely great. The problem should only be available to be a well-preserved.

Also known as Pana joyous film "must" I recommend the TRV 900.
The only question should be who is for under 1000 ¬ being made, if one always runs at eBay - and this is rare, about 20 are still used 1 day before the end at ¬ 700-800 lie, at least for the full models with average Kopfstünden. Well lucky maybe.

Thank you for the movies! The image quality and color performance, the effect really very professional! In the video from the church I would be interested to know what settings actually rotated with the TRV900 was - see the pictures from all class! I think the quality still a good bit better than the recordings that I have of the Panasonc GS camcorders saw.
I will then only once after a good SonyAusschau hold, possibly synonymous few Euros drauf pack, and only in the event that I find no good Sony, Panasonic to a switch. Wahnsinnig hurry I did not anyway - I just wish I planned to travel Australia in March have a better camcorder.

Yes, the 950er's a bargain. I had a long time for a good friend A wanted, that was a few months ago. The continuous shot s.Schluss the auction still to 1000 ¬. With the 20 bidders, I had been right - yes TRV 900 / 950 is already popular. Although the seller of the TRV 950 - certainly 8403brigittef ever seen anywhere .....

Do you think any difference between the different cameras (in this lighting situation) can recognize? If not, it's really no preference, the settings of the TRV900 come. ;-)
Nevertheless, it was the strings.
Wahnsinnig hurry I did not anyway - I just wish I planned to travel Australia in March ... That I see differently: March (2007?) Is no longer a long way, especially if you previously have a rare but sought-after item on eBay auction wants.
Computed synonymous still a few (!) Days for service to, as I would a used camcorder, always thorough, before me the device is important recordings versemmelt.
