| GS60 as GS11 poor image quality, alternatives?
Question of tomk: August 2007
Moin, moin
I film my little daughter mainly indoors at rather low light (evening)
Until a month ago I had a GS11 and was with the result (MAGIX -> DVD -> Television) synonymous quite satisfied, but unfortunately it is defective. The GS60 is the picture, especially in bad light, much worse, it's dark and noisy. At a certain level seems to be almost off camera (nothing more obvious)
At the reception situation has not changed (lamps, time, software)
I have read in the forum and gegoogelt, nevertheless:
Question: Is this known behavior? If so, what alternative current (up to about 1000, - EUR), there is, especially füer Lowlight (no NightShot)? The alternative must be able to read existing tapes.
Thank you for your help Tom (and Elisabeth)

In connection with bad light, the SonyHC96 be a good recommendation.
In the Panasonics, the GS320 (but not quite as good as the Sony). I myself use the GS180 (about identical to the GS230) and am with the performance in bad light synonymous quite satisfied that it is in any case already worlds better than the small Einchipper that I once synonymous tested and found to have bad.

Hi Tom,
the image converter with time were becoming smaller and the number of sensor points is increasing. This is a development that is sensitive un camcorder light made. - As far as technological background.
Unfortunately, I know the GS11 is not from my own experience, otherwise I would have if possible, on various topical Comparison camcorders had. The current light strongest consumer model is the SonyVX2100, but what price is somewhere else (around 2.4 T ¬).
Would alternatively consider the possibility of a video light to use? 20 Watt Halogen makes many dark scenes directly something respectable. ;-)

thanks for the tips, with the sensors leutet me as staunch Nikkon DSLR user.
A Videleuchte can not be considered, the frightened Lütte (which had a built-GS11 luminaire). Furthermore, the GS60 no shoes.
The SonyHC96 and the Panasonic 180/320 times, I will look at the dealer.
Has anyone experience with the use of tape in another camera?
Cordially from Hamburg Tom

Has anyone experience with the use of tape in another camera? As long as you MiniDV tapes in SP (standard play) and have played not just on Sonyumsteigst of Canon, everything is fine. The tapes should be your new camcorder can also play.
