Frage von space_diver:Hello,
times a game idea thrown in the round that I was initially interested only half employed:
Good, heavy Cams with good optics are in the digital version usually quite expensive. Until recently had a really good Sony may benefit - very great. As a "normal users" are so often beyond the Prices of good and evil.
Well yes there are more ancient times Profi-VHS-Cams/Betacams to ebay at bargain prices. With VHS wants None work. The parts, however, generally have a good optics and are difficult to execute, have a number of useful connections, etc. - Would it be possible s.so a CameraLink a portable HDD drive adapter and the analog to digital recordings immediately to convert? (of course in PAL, DV). The Music are so happy times synonymous old analog device in the chain placed, due to the "Charms".
Sowas is nonsense? The HDD drive so you can also still zweitverwenden. If only such a mind game.
I'm anxious to see your opinions ...

Clearly this is an option if you still working in SD. I had a time of times keep a SonyHi8 VX 1 vote as s.einem Casablanca, a DV recorder or a laptop as a third camera for concert recordings in use. In good light conditions and optimum setting can be recorded well in a project with DV camera mount, especially in the recording of the analog intermediate step on Hi8 tape eliminated. If the whole should be portable, should you have a portable HDD recorder with analog inputs have. They are hard to find. FBAS I would not connect. S-Video is much better.

Sure, so synonymous my thought - yes, there as several of SONY portable DV recorder with analog inputs. The analog Cam s.die then clamped and then you would get something of a hybrid system ;-)
Since the recorder alone, but for example 1600, - ¬ will cost, you have probably come bundled with a semi-digital Cam better off. The old CCDs (at least from the normal price segment) are not usually synonymous longer the best - the technology is not stopped ...

I am afraid, because even a non-white as exactly what he wants. In the Überschrfit is dockable disk recorder of the speech, it is here in the text but to read:
yes, there as several of SONY portable DV recorder ... So, hard drive camcorders have been around. The wheel is already invented. You hear on the name
Antwort von space_diver:
From dockable recorders has never been any question. I got a question about the analog output signal of a camera to a portable data-recorder (tape or HDD, halt with Battery) recorded. Older Analogcams are relatively inexpensive partial verscheuert - could be the optics of these cams and the use of digital still images to disk. Of course, apart of some loss of quality through the conversion. Sometimes you prioritized but a good, strong light lens rather than a little analog noise. (yes that is why the thread)
The game was now thought then, what really brings obs or would rather sonnlos because a recorder is already at 1600, - ¬ and it is 2000, - ¬ synonymous quite a decent DV Cam gets. The savings here would probably be zero, with me always a mystery is why these recorders are so expensive. A hard drive costs today 3Mark80 bissl and the electronics can not be the hammer. The Consumer-HDD player for MPEG4 and DVD gibts fürn Appel and egg s.der street corner. Bastel the partial order on IR, Build a Battery inside and finished. Such electronics can be found in every 300, - ¬-Cam. It's not everyone wants to be a movie shoot and for the dedicated Amateuer filmmakers would be a small DV recorder for acceptable price is certainly a good thing - even synonymous because of the camera for capturing conservation.
Again as info: I am not talking about the broadcasting, film and television. I think for these people is not necessarily synonymous Slashcam made.
PS Also this again: We have in the company had several shoulder cameras, with whom I've already filmed - we had already synonymous and Steadys cranes. Thus, it is not ;-)) - that is not synonymous.

I have it already with my old Canon EX1 Hi 8 done:
With S-Video cable into the S-Video input of my little Canon MV-600i (mini-DV). The EX1 was on a tripod, the MV600i on a plywood plate directly underneath. The result was quite passable.
It is therefore not necessarily a more expensive hard-Recorder, a cheap mini-DV camcorder with analog input tuts synonymous.
Antwort von Frank B.:
The problem is likely to be portability. A small PC with analog input, there are a just few hundred dollars, along with Casablanca I analog and DV-IN-OUT. The latter I have recently sold for 120 euros. A reasonably powerful laptop with A / D converter is likely to be less than 800 euros to have his - perhaps an alternative to expensive hard disk recorders.

From the point of view - of course. That's why I find it all the more incomprehensible why it is not exactly something a compact device based on the DV is an affordable price.
The cameraman, but constantly a laptop around the neck to tie, I think for very impractical synonymous ;-))
