Hi, I have been a few days a new DCR HC 96, with which I am quite satisfied synonymous. The problem: Camera 3 Megapix SHOULD have. I capture the video of miniDV, but on the Calculator (Firewire), the quality is lowered car, at best, to 0.4 Mpix. I've try with USB (and quickly abandoned), as well as with various capture programs: WinDV, Nero, Windows Movie Maker, AMCAP've even tried. Can someone me a hint as to how / with what program you really high quality videos on the calculator can draw?

miniDV has by definition a Resolutionvon 720 x 576 pixels = 414,720 pixels. More is not! The 3 Megepixel are solely responsible for the photo function of your camera, the images are so synonymous to the tape but not on the memory stick stored. So you divide the idea of video would have 3 megapixel.

Yes Of the 3 million gross pixels are only 414,720 on the MiniDV tape is written, fine details and it is already better. Also, the sensor is twice as large (1 / 3 ") and the better Zeiss Lens Vario Sonnar with apochromatic correction.
