Only for cutting, I use a second monitor. Sometime opened window in Firefox no more, it was to Be Crazy. I finally gave in and used Safari. The next day I turned on my preview monitor: Because beamed Firefox, which I eventually had probably accidentally moved. Since then, I know that even after a reboot - not just a program, but the computer! - Have the window position in which it has most recently moved. Stupid: It can be synonymous slide there where no ghosting monitor waits.

Hi Axel
Yes I know, there are sometimes strange processes. Naja.
Nevertheless, I need NEN useful tip, as I return to this window (with content) can come, otherwise I can not set more active .....

Nevertheless, I need NEN useful tip, as I return to this window (with content) can come, otherwise I can not set more active ..... I guess you've already gegoogelt and found out that one common program window by dragging of
the> Library> Preferences folder to the desktop and then open again visible. With the System Preferences, I would prefer to leave. As another window disappeared "problem - except for the positioning in nothing - apparently unknown, you could first test, where the window actually sits. You hit (in the Finder active "system settings" = The window is open) apple + m, the window of where it is dragged into the Dock (minimize). Watch it, where it comes from, perhaps, a corner or an edge even with the mouse to "fish". With AppleScript is allegedly the location of manual settings, I know I will not like this. Do not despair.

Axel, you're not balancing.
Your tip was more than useful.
I had the window on my 2.Monitor "lie down", and had the monitor turned off.
Best regards
