| Help! XL-1 does not recognize cartridge!

Hello s.die who are still awake!
Today I have my XL-1 out, okay, we would have to be thorough Cam together did not.
Now I have read through the instructions, Batteries charged, a fresh mini DV tape reingeschoben (SonyPremiun, slider, window to the outside), and see only the blinking "no tape" character and "Memory Protection Battery empty. Tape out, from Cam, Battery out, battery in, tape in, same error message. Other second-cartridge pack pure, synonymous nix.
Did I miss something? Does the backup battery is full?
Tomorrow morning I would terribly like a bit losüben ...

Did the outer flap zugedrückt, instead of the cassette management.
