The still images in the film were probably reworked in Photoshop. This is really simple with any editing program.

yet to complete betr stick figures (better fly line):
The best is always to be such a "view templates" single instance - then it soon becomes clear is how it's done.
In this case, the fly was painted only once, and with alpha channel saved. All the rest are repetitions in the superimposed video tracks, with the drawing simply rotated, reduced, enlarged, s.eine other position was pushed. You should not try to recreate 1:1, but let your imagination run wild ;-)))

This is my sympathy with ner animated mask made. the other animals are just new levels, in different scales and rotated.
