How safe are low-Batteries?

How safe are low-Batteries? At what temperature (plus) is it dangerous? at 40 degrees? Have NB2L18 as a replacement battery for HV30.
Reports of lithium-ion batteries are really frightening.
I want to ask you: have you ever bad experiences with the cheap batteries at all? Are safe enough that you can film a relaxed, without ever thinking that Battery in flames?

Films since 2004 with a Vivanco-Battery with no problems. Still alive

When batteries renowned foreign suppliers (such as Vivanco, but for example, synonymous or Hähnel Delkin) or NoName from reputable dealers, I would have no concerns and did so - NP-F960-replicas for around 30 euros per piece - synonymous only good experiences. 3-euro Batteries of any ebay seller, I would have opposed in principle not to let go of my camcorder.

Why critical? Originals HV20/30 Batteries with 7.4V working, just like the BP-970. Anders is the capacity (7000 mAh instead of 1400).

If the solder properly isolated, because nothing can happen. And 7 hours with a battery which is fine;)
