Well, as far as Final Cut is my opinion reached by a leveling of many NLEs. Final Cut Pro for years was a leader when it came to cutting-and-friendly format. Avid was - provided the correct format and some training - always faster and more professional version. Avid has now drawn level in terms of ease of format with Final Cut Pro and is available in some areas - see Red-Raw - become even better than Final Cut Pro. This is the point in which Final Cut Pro needs to improve next Bluray. Final Cut Pro is easier to learn than Avid, which will mean a lot of supply out of the hobby and Semiprobereich. Avid, however, is in the student version of incredibly cheap - maybe Final will Cut Pro so synonymous is a variant for 270 ¬ have to throw on the market if they Avid's offer will have spread among Studis (and as everyone should know a student who is the spread of fully commercially exploitable student versions no longer an obstacle). Otherwise will - unless the consumer friendliness - must not change probably much:) Reply piano_jochen:
Steve Jobs writes that the next Final Cut Pro "is awesome." Maybe he is working so s.Final cut for iPad! ; Log) videos and then goes open only on Apple's own online service log M, which is available for 99ct per second. That's the iPad App FinalCutMobile probably for 3.99 EUR ... Reply emu:
I'm really excited about what Apple will conjure next s.wirklichen innovations out of the hat. The only thing they could previously well, was buying up companies and bundled products to offer junk prices (as happened with FC and synonymous with Logic). Shake they have completely ruined and whether there will be coming once a successor is questionable.
Real innovation I see at Apple really only in hardware and there they are, in my opinion, synonymous really good (the software I trust rather to companies whose core business selbige synonymous - is at Apple, you never know quite what one in the area is). Reply SammyGray:
I've only recently switched and hope that it will be really good. Above all, I miss 64-bit :-( Reply Bernd E.:

Is such a cheap student version of Media Composer as well actually commercially available as the normal version? If you have a reliable source for this info, I would be interested: on the Avid website I think not specified and in other forums like this is the speech that this student versions are not commercially available flat. Thank you, it seems to really be. However Unimall sold a "Education" version, and even at Avid is always a can of "Academic" version of the speech - may account for the difference? Reply tom:
Here a strong response to the Apple Insider story: http://www.philiphodgetts.com/2010/05/18/why-apple-insider-couldnt-be-more-wrong/

The Apple Insider is a law have: A newly invented NLE is still present attractive studio already is for prosumers and Con sumer be, as it. This is the trend that lasts for decades: simplification.
Had Apple Insider synonymous right that in the course of this simplification disappear Pro features (the extremely negative reaction and the almost immediate inversion of Apple for the "streamlining" of iMovie speaks exactly against it), would take the argument in the second link: Without Apple Pro NLE permanent MacPros not be, maybe a little later, sold MacBookPros.
