Hello, I cut the first time in iIMovie a movie. Now I wanted the film to play as a backup to a tape. Apple Computer PowerBook 1.67, iMovie 6.02, Camera VX 1000 E. The camera was released several years ago. When you export the iMovie detects a camera depends upon it, do not send the type but the option is available. In the viewfinder of the camera, I saw synonymous DV IN. The moment where I begin to transfer (that is synonymous with 10 sec. Forward) in the viewfinder, I see large black rectangular, partially rectangular blocks that look like oversized pixels where no picture is transmitted. These remain and not change during the dubbing. "Can anyone tell me what's wrong?. When playing on the camera, these losses are clearly synonymous. Thankful for every idea Leo Latasch (RockDoc@compuserve.com or leo.latasch @ stadt-frankfurt.de)

Hi Leo,
this is not a direct answer to your question, but at least one solution for your project, save the video to:
Copy the DV-AVI file (if not already present, they export from the timeline) and save it to another drive (such as another hard drive). It is unlikely that two hard disks at the same time to give up the ghost.
