Question of heinrich78: März 2011
Hello forum community
I have often read here and always synonymous to collect good ideas. Now I got a question and I have it registered here.
I have a video, which is originally of VHS. This has black stripes across the image (see attached image). As the video a sentimental value for us, I would like to bring it in as good quality on DVD.
Do you have ideas? Perhaps a filter for VirtualDub or something?
It would really help me much.
Thank you in advance.
Greetings,
Heinrich

Where the image is to see that? On the PC? Is the original video on VHS still available? If so, (as seen on television) the interference is already synonymous to see you there?
This is what we need to know in order to provide assistance.
Reply MK:
With software filtering to get here in the first instance is not next.
Vorrausgesetzt the recorder is in order will at least need a Time Base Corrector between player and PC hardware.
If the problem is not to resolve it, a cleaning of the tape would still be considered.
Reply carstenkurz:
First try NEN other recorder, preferably one with manual tracking adjustment.
