Frage von mp17: Oktober 2007
Hello I'm working s.einem script, and mine is as straight noticed a strange thing. I use in my script inner monologues, of which the main character coming, and in the past are written. However, the main character dies s.Ende. Now I wonder whether this all about. Because it sounds as if the main person in the presence of about a past event from the report, but he is dead. What about my her? Would that work in the film funny?

I think it goes, but in my opinion: you have to be in the death scene as a reference. "And there it was over with me" Then you can even go ahead with "After my death, yet the following happens ..."
It must of Anfanfg s.klar be that the actor is not at the time of the picture is thinking, but that he is seen retrospectively from the future considered. The art of drafting is needed ...

If I remember me, says the main character in American Beauty s.Anfang that this is the last week of his life is ... The question is, why you the main person in the past tense can tell, would not it be more of an "inner monologue," if it is the thoughts and comments would be present? So instead of: Lutz had no idea that I deceived him with Doris ... (While you see as the main actor Lutz exuberant welcome.) What I do here! Shit! My best friend!

I would build up so that your main character all in the past told her live, so to speak, in the film again revuepassiern leaves, you can do so with a number of years or so s.anfang make, and a 2 year or so later at the death scene .. . complicated ... or you can do the first part of the death scene (preparations to hang or so) s.anfang the film, just before the execution, says the actor as "why hast thou then pleased ..." and then fade as "two years before" (black hide in between), then your film, and then again s.ende the black panel, and the execution of the suicide.
sry for the text without form, I'm just a little stress ...

Moin, synonymous Martin Scorsese has done so: in "Casino" tells Nicky Santoro a part of the story from the off, but shortly before the end buried alive. BG Andreas

@ Mp17
Only one small example:
If you are without "flashbacks" to work want to build your tension but on the other:
First scene cemetery tombstone. (= Invitation to "What, Why, How ...?)
The first "key scene" with "inner monologue" - (Tombstones can talk) - should be marked with distinctive - Key tones, melodies, noise coupled. Thus erleichterst you the viewers in the specific assignment of other "inner monologues".
So the script-writing always leave as much open space; not only to post pictures, but especially for your dubbing needs, which in your case, "not" will be. Your editors (in DIR?) Will be very grateful. ;)

oh, just a shout of next door: Avoid action dilemma!
But it should be clear. Over and around the theme "Inner monologue" around here we could jabber for hours yet, but it would be really s.dieser body outrageous ... ;)
