Layman to take play ... unfortunately some time critical
Frage von YourMajesty: Dezember 2010
Hi,
anticipate, YES I am a layman and an XH A1 vrwende still my children to video capture.
I was asked to take a play s.18.12.2010 with my camera - I'd like to do, but I still lack the necessary expertise.
Camera position will be back in the room, centered on an elevated position. So I have no problems - think that the already fit - much more concerned with me the sound. So far I use the internal mic - but wanted to switch to a Rhode NTG 1 or 2.
Presumably, this makes the front stage s.der positioned synonymous not make much sense because of the microphone characteristics - need here somewhat "wider" than Shotgun or? Is there anything 'good and useful for my job? Or maybe the NTG-x position of the rear? Camera distance - 20m platform are well.
Additionally, I have to ask - can I extend the XLR audio cables at will? I imagine it like this, XLR s.die Camera, n.25m cable and then forward s.das Mic.
I have to note something here? Can you cut into pieces XLR cable to need? The cable that I have seen were male / female - this is the right thing? The mic should be placed s.einer fixed position - boom or the like will not happen.
Fact is, I raise no claim to be pro, I will not synonymous, just want to make the way for me.
Maybe something like - or am I completely wrong here? http://www.thomann.de/de/the_tbone_mb_85_beta_set.htm
Do you have tips else?
Thank you, Thomas

I'd borrow two kidney-microscopic and positioned in front of the stage. s.besten you something to read on xy-stereo (no big deal) through. XLR you can extend and cut into pieces as desired. then simply the xlr mics on the camera and you should get a fairly reasonable stereo sound.
important is that you pay attention before me at the rehearsal (or loud whisper passages) on any difficult scenes.
synonymous think I would use a second camera.
greeting, k

Hi,
more than 2 mics I've been thinking synonymous, it seems to make sense.
The question is, I can of myself as the proposed Mik take grundstätzlich - of the technical data I mean. Impedance, power supply ...?! The Manual is in the XH A1 XLR: ATT: 20dB, -59.5 dBV (Auto) / 600 ohms. Does this mean I can only use mics that have synonymous 600 ohms?
How can you tell I like this little idea ...
A NTG-1 / 2 draufzuklatschen I believe in myself and I know that's how it works to read as synonymous in the network.
Do you have a specific proposal, which mics I should see it?
Thank you and lG Thomas

If your budget allows it, two AKG C1000S with stand, and cable is good. Each of left and right so it's not too disruptive for the audience.

Hi,
that is me then frankly a bit too expensive - something ....? convenient From the fits of the impedance ago? As mentioned, camera manual says 600ohms, 200ohms would have said ...?!
