| Long-Time Lapse
Question of Marja_Gast: September 2005
Hello,
The question is really are quite a few times, been made, but I did not understand the answers, I know myself with photography and shooting from all that is not ... So:
Our company is building a new hall, and we want to install a camera for the next six months, then it takes a Time Lapse movie. I looked around me on the Internet and of low-budget versions with Webcam and shareware to high-end professional equipment found anything. We ourselves (except for an old laptop yet) no equipment. The movies will later on the website and in presentations will not run on television. The system must be "foolproof", a half year run as stable and do not care.
Can you recommend me something? What should I look? Which cameras can very well? Oh yes, and does it synonymous with the window? Otherwise, the camera still be synonymous waterproof ...
Thank you for your help Marja

Hello
if the system should be as simple as possible, I would xl1-s or a different cam with zeitraffer function can make on a tripod and run. in xl1-s (do not know whether the xl2 is synonymous) can be adjusted every 5 minutes a picture is made. we really only need to change the tapes. You can eicgentlich synonymous filmed through the window, only it should be as clean.

Hello,
xl1-s is what exactly? Stillimage a digital or video camera? (As I said, I have no plan)
Reply melloken:
sorry, that is xl1-s is a video camera of canon.

Hello,
I've realized that a film project 2003rd It was built in the fall synonymous, a new hall and a new camp. It was perfect enough to be incorporated in a few shots per day per Tripod always from the same position. The building project took approximately 6 months, as single frames every 5 minutes is probably a bit much. The individual scenes I then edited together as a 5-minute film. The film was then during the inauguration of the hall walls by beamer s.eine shown in an endless loop (was well received by the public).
The same had I later made with the interior design, a high-bay warehouse with 80,000 locations.
As of Panasonic video camera used was a MX350, but you can certainly do with each x-arbitrary camcorder.

Tach zusammen That with the XL1S is probably about the same as if one is shooting at a fly with ner gun. In the 5min interval would be the Cam as 288 images per day, and total shoot 52'560 images, which would then correspond to a 36.5 minute long movie!
simplest solution in my eyes: 1. Cheap digital camera to buy. Resolutionauf PAL Setting 2. Optimal Select Location 2.a If outdoors: small box made of wood to build, integrate it as a fixture for the camera to camera every day s.der same place 2.b when affixed inside: With a window and a fixed mounting) camera on it (careful, it should not synonymous, the cleaning lady can move. 3. Each day a Stillimage shooting 4. Photos in iMovie or Movie Maker to load and arrange on the timeline in the correct order.

Hello all of you,
Thank you for your tips! We have now found an elegant solution: a surveillance camera of Mobotix, suitable for outdoor use, including software and all the trappings. After the construction of the hall has filmed, we use them to guard the new hall ...
So in six months you'll find the result then at www.fact-kunststoffe.de!
Love Greetings Marja
