| Menu Question Save TRV 890 (& 900) | Settings?
Question of mediaroman: April 2006
Hello,
I've actually just a quick question:
Possessed since eineiger time a TRV 890 and am satisfied. Only one thing bothers me s.der Camera and I wonder if you might find a solution.
I put everything enter manual. (Exposure) Also in the menu so I stll a few things, such as zebra, Beep off, a so on.
So now if I do not use the camera, such as overnight or s.Tag a few hours, I pull the battery. Then when I do I want to shoot again set everything back of the front. pretty annoying. is ok, the exposure must be made anew in the menu no problem, but all go through again and again in front of even annoying.
Is this normal?
And a button battery that could save the gibts ja not - or I have not yet found? I have no instructions - Second Hand.
Thank you for your help. lg media romance

Hello,
Manuals in PDF format You will find on www.sonydigital-link.com.
The TRV890 has a button cell. This is located where the battery is docked (is) a valve to screw on. It is synonymous an error message if the backup battery is empty.
I have on my TRV900 times to test whether the settings are maintained ... previously occurred to me only that I need to make certain options from the menu again and again when the battery was disconnected for a long time.
BTW: By displaying the zebra function in a truly TRV890 menu? My TRV900 has an extra button for it ...

Hello,
Thanks for the answer to your link! but I'm not here next. when I get there then screw the looks more like a slot there for a button cell fold cables out and not for one. in the manual I only read a bit of a "dry cell"? what I do not synonymous much to help.
hmm .. :-)
Reply mediaroman:
so, I found habs. there's really no cam button in the cell. we must have the battery for 24 hrs dranlassen so that the internal battery for the clock and so is charging. (or with the power supply for 24 hours without a battery and power to attach to off.) lg
Reply Markus:
With my new camera is so, but that was already synonymous for TRV890/900, I do not know. The camcorder is in my regular use, therefore, the internal battery is never empty. ;-)
