I need for various purposes (Inside and Outside, a Micro, which takes me well over a fishing rod Language). Currently I have a micro-directional (cardioid and supercardioid) with mini-jack, not bad but it hisses something. So I want to XLR change and wondering whether I should buy myself a shotgun-Micro, a super-cardioid or hypercardioid / lobe. At Thomann I have found that T. BONE SC150-set. But I am a little suspicious, because it is so cheap (89 euros).
What XLR to do with the noise? A shotgun (leg) is more likely to include what distant noises in the vicinity, there are sometimes so weird phase shifts. About a fishing pole but reaches a kidney or supercardioid ...... so where is your problem?

Well, I'm just not satisfied with my sound. I usually have a noise, especially if I put my Micro of "normal," pretending to "tele". But maybe you're right and it roars with XLR as well - yes, I have no idea!

Well, with the telecommunications switch is turned off, a resistor, and you'll get the full sensitivity of the microphone supplied s.deiner microphone jack. Now the question is whether your microphone has such a high level of background noise or the camera. When it comes, sometimes turn your camera on manual level control, perhaps it is better. With the automatic sound level, the camera always tries to keep the same level, and pulls the input to the speech unnaturally high up into meaningless noise.

So I am shooting with a Canon XL1 and generally do not use automatic functions. Neither sound nor in Picture. I was told of more or less competent Page that only XLR cables are shielded so that they do not absorb vibrations of the outside (for example) shortwave. That's why I'm me for a lot of money gained an XLR Atapter for my XL1. Meanwhile, I have the noise synonymous with my current Micro (Small Jack somewhat) under control. But a bisserl Noise is synonymous to me too much. Do not you think that I am with an XLR-Micro would help in this regard?
Antwort von ruessel:
No.. Balanced XLR has absolutely nothing to do with the noise about. XLR microphone cable is good for greater lengths s.ca. 10meter lengths to make s.diesen .... mostly AC hum or crackling dimmer noticeable, but this sounds different than a murmur.

To which directional microphone are these? And how much you were willing to spend for a good microphone?
