I spent the whole afternoon with the fruitless search for a suitable monitor. Unfortunately, often the messages on the Internet are already outdated. The entry of Slashcam monitors I've already read, but unfortunately it has not continued.
I have: AVID MC5 on Windows XP, MatroxMini-Box and two old computer monitors,
I need: A "simple" HD monitor, the average sequence in HD correctly display my. The color correction is not made s.diesem editing suite. The Picture will also be displayed without jerking or other inconveniences (1:1 pixel mapping, native 50 Hz). Also will be the distance from the monitor is only about 1 meter. So it should not be larger than 32 inches. The editing room is not particularly bright (possibly because plasma is still in question?) Price range up to 1000 ¬. I actually thought s.einen TV monitor, because ultimately the films are usually synonymous viewed on TV. But maybe someone has a Argument against it?
Can anyone recommend 2-3 models (the s.heute are currently 13/01/2011)?
Thank you for your expertise.

Who has time and wants, can perhaps even answer my following questions:
1. What makes an HD TV of an HD computer screen (apart from the TV tuner), pure quality? If, on the image quality is not the same out at the same Resolutionund Size?
2. Does the whole discussion of plasma, LED, LCD still have any role or has LED ahead anyway?

So LED applies only to the backlight of LCD panels. I use a Sony40W2000 as a monitor, just perfect in all its controls and also pure logic all right because he occasionally serves as synonymous Television and so on average I of the material shown a Refernz to my own footage was cut. The only question is whether the results can Televisions at 50 Hz frequency drive panel at all, which must be clarified, however, very easily and whether such Television can be a pixel-accurate 1:1 HD picture via HDMI at all show. With my new LG TV that works that is no longer, there are black edges around the scaled picture.

Hi,
I think of the 2110 Sonygut. Costs as far as I know as to the 1,300, - net, and has everything except HD-SDI. The difference between computer monitors and HD monitors can see you easily. CMs are made for still images, moving images for HDMS. Leg times a gray gradient on both types and you see immediately, the CM has not gradations of HDM. So at least my experience.
