what to look at one Monopods Purchase? What is of additional "structures" such as handles (Grip), or ball joints to hold, with which we like with a joystick to steer and to her? Satisfies a proper recording plate for the camcorder? Please give your recommendations and opinions, thank you.

again the question s.The user of a monopod. Is it sufficient to only one recording disk s.Tripod have, or is a joint or joint control of real advantage. As written, appropriate for use, I already have a proper tripod (to me) is just too heavy for some applications, I now need another "one foot" on the move (eg walking), slightly lighter. A joint is only a limited advantage. On the one hand one can tilt the monopod. On the other hand it can help to have screwed with a setting of a joint lengths above. Example, if one is sitting where, and takes up a small demonstration - and simply has no place for the tripod. But easier is the handling course, with such a non-spherical, the tripod base is not so fixed. Conclusion: too much like this one has not.

Hi Folks,
Finally, I wanted to say briefly what I have decided now. I now have a monopod with 4 extracts and normal shooting board appointed) (Walimex WAL1013. It is retracted 49 cm long, 750g heavy / light, extended 169 cm long and has terminal closures.
I guess that's enough for better shots in conditions where a three-legged may not necessarily be used (such as on walks in the mountains, because it is easy to transport, or at exhibitions / trade fairs or children's events, where it quickly hectic times may be). Thanks again for the tips.

I would be interested walimex times long-term experiences with the. because the parts are indeed Chinese, because I have my doubts, as far as longevity. specifically shake and rattle, or synonymous, the clamping ability of the catches.

Call me right away 10 things that do not come from China :-)) Sure I will test it thoroughly and report at the time. But seriously, I am sometimes s.verzweifeln if I ordered something, and then again find that it comes from China, especially in the electronics sector and its accessories. Because we will have to accustom ourselves in the future even more ...

The Consumer tip for three-legged tripods (Velbon) is synonymous China. My D-600 is already 16 years old and still good to use. ;-)

Good quality, but much too heavy and too big. With small dimensions in the together condition and with little more weight gibts schon Tripoide.
The meaning of a monopod is just the smallest pack size and light weight.

Walimex is the last trash. The above monopod I was 6 weeks. Then it was gone. 'm Rushing satisfied with a Slik Pro Pod 600 and top.
