Hi, I am going s.Samstag with my Pana 180 in Skiiing and until now have only the program Magix Video Deluxe 2006/2007. As does the 16:9 and the movie does not quite work. If I now leave the movies in record function, is there like in other programs probleme? Is that when your Magix? What are some other good video editing programs for the Rent?

When you herausfindest, then you find the right project synonymous setting in Magix.

Then it is 4:3 letterbox, so genuine 4:3. It must be the project setting synonymous look, otherwise the video is distorted.

The GS180 offers two ways to come to 16:9. First, the "widescreen feature, a 16:9-anamorphic picture recording, and on the other" movie feature, "when - as Mark has described - just two black bars covering the Picture, but it nevertheless remains 4:3.

The GS 180 has a 4:3 screen, so the bar.
The model has an anamorphic 16 / 9 mode, there are slight wide benefits, but unfortunately at a cost of then shut stabilizer. GS 230 followers makes it synonymous unfortunately not better ....
The simple undistorted letterbox mode, the GS 24.27, or 37, s.der the GS 180's 16:9 anamorphic mode. Why the LCD of the GS 180 is only available in 4:3, but you can not understand it right.

Also: The "real" (= anamorphic) 16:9 selects one of the GS180 in the menu "extended" by the "aspect" 16:9 chooses.
If on the other hand, the "Cinema" is on, the picture is 4:3 and there are only top and bottom black edges appear ( "letterbox").
In the first case, your Magix set to 16:9, in the second case to 4:3. As a rule, should the software itself, however, identify which setting is right.
Which of the two options you've selected, only you know yourself
I use Magix itself, in my swing recordings in 4:3 as synonymous in 16:9 wonderful. And I "letterbox" never tried, because I find it absurd.

When I look at the clips shown on the timeline, then I see as quite normal black bars above and below.
